In 2014, the 1912 Bangor Public Library copper dome needed to be replaced. Maine Jewelry and Art, in true New England fashion, was not going to let that copper go to waste and they were allowed to salvage a piece. Since then, MJA has been turning the 100+ year old copper into pieces of jewelry, bookmarks, pins, etc. MJA closed their storefront in 2023 and we jumped on the chance to continue to offer their one-of-a-kind pieces for sale.
No two pieces will ever be alike and when the copper is gone, it’s gone.
